A handsome carpenter whose amiable grin is as constant a fixture as his utility belt, pack of smokes, and deck of playing cards.

History:

Born in Southsea gutters under a name he's left behind, one of an untold number of siblings, with every expectation of remaining there.

Spent his childhood picking pockets, graduating to grifter once he was old enough to pull off confidence tricks with, well, confidence.

Pulled a trick on the wrong person--or the right person, depending. Subsequently conscripted into royal service, where he developed a particular skillset.

After intervening in a bloody skirmish between the militias of Black Rock and Cliffside, deserted the Crown.

Some years later, turns up in Northcliff Pass; becomes the town carpenter, and lives quietly and unobtrusively with his 'particular friend,' Ben Carver.

Personality:

Relaxed and easy-going, the kind of person who seems like he's never met a stranger before in his life.

Good for a laugh, just don't fuck with him. Or Ben Carver.

Being charming.

A skilled carpenter.

When pressed, a dangerously skilled marksman; his weapon of choice is a crossbow, but he can hold his own in close quarters combat.

Of the two carpenters who live and work at "Marlowe's," there's probably a reason his is the name on the sign. He's the nice one.
